Tonight is the eve of Chinese new year. People are busy shopping for decoration, food, clothing and cleaning up the house as they prepare for this once in every year important event. Family member will come home for the reunion dinner. A renew vigor for a better business, career, education, life and the wishes go on and on. To sum it up the Chinese mentality is all focus on prosperity and longevity.
Some shots last night at Miri Bazaar CNY celebration. There were live singing, stalls setup for the sales of variety of products for new year shopper.
People of all races and religions come out to join the crowd in celebrating this auspicious happy occasion. Sarawak is one of the unique state in Malaysia which is indeed blessed with many cultural heritages, friendly faces from people of all races.
